In the early days of the Centre d'Art, it was difficult to distinguish one artist from another. Dewitt Peters took
particularly track of works created by Hector Hyppolite. He would sign and title all of Hector Hyppolite's work.

Can this work be an early Wilmino Domond? The colors seem to indicate so. Castera Bazile (?) - by the houses.

Unsigned, but on early cardboard paper distributed at the Centre d'Art from 1944-1949 - leaves us speculating if this is a work by an early master or an individual who tried their hand at painting and left the center altogether.
